Campfire and Festival of Colors

What? I'm blogging about something within 3 months of when it happened? Wow, look at me go! We are so excited that the weather is turning nice. This winter seemed SO short, and I am fine with that. I need sunshine and warmth.

Shaun decided to plan a campfire for Friday night. We've tried to do this several times, but we always try to invite people like, an hour before, and no one ever shows up. Well, this time Shaun planned ahead, and we had 5 couples there! It was really fun. Everyone brought something to contribute, and we had hotdogs, s'mores, and cobbler. Shaun built the fire Bear-Grylls-style. He is obsessed with that show lately!

This guy was dragging a tree behind his motorcycle. Then he delivered firewood to some of the people having campfires, including us. Random, but kind. :)
Smoke was an issue, as usual.
Lotta hotdogs!!

On Saturday we went to Provo and had a BBQ with my whole family. Then we went to the Festival of Colors. I've wanted to go for a long time, and it was an adventure! I loved it, and I would totally go again! We went to the last throwing of the day, and they said it was the biggest one. I had watched videos on the internet, and I thought we might die. It was like a mosh pit with lots of dust. But it really wasn't scary. I slightly felt like we were joining a cult, as we walked down the long lane with tons of other people towards this huge, ornate temple. But it was actually really cool.
I made Shaun kiss me on the school bus that was a shuttle to the temple.

This was before the throwing - we had no idea what was coming.

My cute parents.

Two of my little sisters.

Me and my other "little" sister.

Some random wolf guy.

Someone randomly handed me this cute little weiner dog for the picture. I have no idea why I'm squatting. Like, I was holding something little so I thought everything around me was short??
