Our Babies

SSSOOOOO....over the last few months we have acquired a few motorcycles, the first and smallest from my uncle Bob. it's a fun little 125 dirt bike that is quite the champ, I say that because a few weeks or so before i got it from my uncle, he ran over it with his backhoe!! But since it is like a tank it barely felt the effects of it! About a month ago I got a call from my friend and he asked me if i wanted a bike and I said sure. I went down to Layton/Ogden to help him and his wife move and picked up the Yamaha xs1100 when we were done, I'm just getting it fixed up slowly but surely. About a week ago I was just browsing the classifieds (cause it passes the time during a graveyard shift ) and came across the Suzuki GS 850. The guy was selling it quite a bit below its true value, so I asked him a bunch of questions about it and Jess and I went down to Salt Lake that night (quite spur of the moment) and looked it over and test drove it and decided that it was worth buying and fixing the few minor issues with it and reselling it. We bought it and now we have two bikes to work on to keep me out of trouble while Jess is at work and on my off days from school.

3rd of July!

Hi! We're back! ha ha. We never take pictures, so we never feel like we have anything good to blog about. This year the 4th of July was on my birthday! That was fun :) We decided to take a 4-day weekend to Provo. It was such a nice break from work and school! But so hard to come back. We got to see Jamie and Russell a lot, and Shaun has family in Provo too. My parents and Brooke and Carly came down for one night and got to spend my birthday with us too.

Parade on the 5th of July. People spent the night out in tents to save their places!

llamas

sasquatch siting!!

so many missionaries!

cute balloons

we accidentally wore matching blue shirts last 4th of July and this year too!

Jamie made my favorite cake... white cake and frosting with raspberry filling. Car and Brooke helped decorate it, I think.

There were Segways that you could pay to take around an obstacle course. It was pretty cool - really weird.

The sun was so bright! 7:00 AM

There were about 25 balloons that took off each morning.

This was a cool hot air balloon, but it never flew - it was more advertising I guess.
