My new calendar
This is the cover of the new calendar I want. I saw it at the mall yesterday and got really excited. I wish you could see the other 11 pages. I kinda wanna buy one for every girl I know and give them as Christmas gifts!!
Bridal Shower!!
Laundromats
Indian Popcorn
This is my friend Alex who discovered the technique.
So sometimes we read some odd books in my elementary education classes. In our science methods class we read one about the history of popcorn. So last time we had a campfire I bought a bag of popcorn kernels and decided to experiment. The only success we had was popping it on a shovel. The trick is to keep the kernels moving so they don't burn right onto the shovel. It is a skill you have to practice. :)
The Notebook
HOWL
We are a cop, a mechanic and a firewoman. :)

School girl, mechanic, firewoman.
Another experience I decided I must have before graduating was attending the HOWL. Supposedly one of the biggest Halloween parties in UT, right here on campus. Who would have thought? It was pretty wild, very fun, lots of dancing. I went with the same two friends that went to True Aggie Night with me. We had a blast! I'm pretty sure I spent as much time getting ready for the Howl as i did for junior prom. :)
True Aggie Night

So I decided there are a few things I have to experience before I graduate, and I'm running out of time! So on Homecoming two friends and I went up to True Aggie Night and kissed total strangers. Ha ha. I never thought I'd really do it. But I am now officially a TRUE AGGIE! And I have a card and witnesses to prove it. :)
For Lindsey
Lindsey, this post is for you. I deeply apologize for never updating my blog. I will try to reform. I have been keeping busy with school. Right now I am kind of like a teacher's aide in a 2nd grade class. I am there all day every day. Then I work 9-5 on Saturdays. It keeps me busy but I'm still loving life. Oh, and Shaun only has 5 1/2 months left on his mission! Yay!

School, school, school
I know I don't write very often, but I didn't realize it had been two months! I am back in Logan slaving away at school! It keeps me very busy - I guess that's what I should expect since it's my senior year. YAY! I'm actually a little sad to be done with college though. I am also working about 20 hours a week, so I don't feel like I have much of a social life. Oh well, LIFE IS GOOD!

Puppies!
Our yellow lab, Briley, had puppies in June! We have had tons of fun playing with them all summer. They were SO tiny at first. Now they can run and play and are little monsters. My little sisters temporarily named them Brigette, Sadie, Roxy, Jewels, Jack, Coal, and Champ. We are keeping Roxy. If you know anyone who wants to buy an AKC registered lab they are really good dogs! They will be 7 weeks old next week.

Okay, there were some good parts
On a good day, when I'm not terrified, I'm a pretty good rock climber!
This is called Devil's Bridge near Sedona, Arizona. Isn't this an amazing picture? It is Jamie and I.
Me and one of my favorite friends, Wistie. Lake Powell was only an hour away, so we spent lots of days off there.
Enjoying the sunset on the very edge of the Grand Canyon.
Two of my good friends and coworkers, Kylie and Gina.
Summer from Hell
My sister, Jamie showing off our orphanage-style housing.
So It's been about forever and a day since I posted, and probably no one even reads my blog, but that's okay. I have been working for the past two months in Jacob Lake, AZ. It is on the way to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, and it is 30 miles from civilizatoin in any direction. I didn't agree with the way management ran things, and I was very unhappy, so I ended up moving home for the rest of the summer, but I had lots of fun in spite of work before I left. I have lots of pictures to show!

Hump Day
Welcome Summer 2008!
I am really excited that summer is here! Not that I am all that opposed to school, but I am ready to be in Arizona! I am tired of this snow one day, 60 degrees the next day weather in Logan! And I am pretty excited to try out my skills as a waitress. :) I won't have very good cell phone service where I am living, so I decided to try a blog for the summer. Hopefully I will be doing lots of fun stuff that I can write about!
