Ode to my husband the mechanic

Nearly a year ago my Saturn, (which I got as a graduation present when I graduated from high school in 2005) wasn't running very well. It had hardly given me any problems for 6 years, and we weren't ready to give up on it yet. So Shaun and his friend started tearing it apart, and realized it needed extensive work. At this point, it was already un-drivable. So we borrowed a trailer from our bishop, and hauled the Saturn to Elwood, to keep in my parents' garage. We dubbed it the BS Garage (Brian and Shaun) ha ha.
Thanks to my best friend's dad, Tim, we were able to borrow all of the equipment needed, and Shaun and my dad ended up rebuilding the entire engine, among many other things. We also had the transmission rebuilt (thanks Mom and Dad for paying for that)!!
We went down to Elwood almost every weekend for several months. My mom and Brooke and I spent a lot of Saturdays trying crafts and recipes off of Pinterest. It also gave me a chance to visit my grandparents more often than usual, which was great. We love playing games with them.
Right at the end of the re-build the Saturn still wasn't working just right. I was so nervous we had put all this time, money and effort into it, and it still wasn't going to run perfectly! Finally, they found the problem! Some dinky little sensor! We now have our Saturn back! We are so glad to be driving it instead of the the 1980-something gas-guzzling truck we'd been driving for almost a year.
Driving the Saturn back to Logan! At long last!!
